4th August - Arrival in Switzerland
Your guide will meet and pick you up from Geneva airport (This can be changed to meet the needs of the group within reason) from here we will drive out to our stunning accommodation based in La Tzoumaz.
5th August - Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge Hike
Today we head out to trek one of the wonders of Europe, the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge. This is the third longest pedestrian bridge in the world and offers panoramic views throughout the hike. Once we’ve crossed a spot of lunch at the top is in order before heading back into the valley below before heading into Zermat for the rest of the afternoon, for views of the Matterhorn.
6th August - Lake Des Vaux Trek
The venture today is a little closer to our mountain paradise lodge. With a later start and a swift drive towards Verbier we climb into the mountains in search of the famous Lake Des Vaux. A crystal clear ancient glacial basin which is perfect for a mountain dip. The views on this hike are simply unparalleled. After our mountain swim we climb a little higher into the mountains for views across Verbier before heading down into the valley to explore this world renowned destination.
7th August - Aletsch glacier trek
This day is a favourite of our guide, when you’re close to the longest glacier in Europe it would be truly rude not to go and say hello. Using cable cars to get over most of the elevation we hike to an altitude of just under 3000 m for what is considered the best view in Switzerland.
8th August - Paragliding in verbier
The final day calls for something pretty extraordinary, that’s why we’re back to Verbier where you’ll be paragliding above the alps! That’s right, paragliding above Europe's giants in an amazing sky tour run by some of the most skilled instructors in the world. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and one which is never to be forgotten
9th August - Heading home
Today will be transferred back to the airport ready for planes back to the UK.
